Why are D-ribose, magnesium and malic acid important?

D-ribose is a simple sugar present in all living cells. Because ribose does not exist as a free standing compound in foods, it must be produced in the body from other dietary nutrients.Research has linked magnesium deficiency to a number of cardiovascular conditions, and reduced magnesium levels have also been noted in chronic fatigue sufferers.Malic acid is a naturally-occurring compound found in sour or tart foods. Recommendations
CorvalenM may be taken with other foods approved for your diet. Add one level scoop (two teaspoonfuls) to 4–8 ounces of of water or your favorite juice, stir briskly and drink. As an alternative, sprinkle on cereal, fruit or applesauce.
Dosage:
1 scoop (2 teaspoonfuls) is equivalent to 5 grams D-ribose. Normal dosage is 5 grams taken twice a day with the morning and evening meals. If moderate to severe symptoms are present (as frequently seen in fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome) it is recommended that at least three (3) doses per day be taken for the first two weeks before reducing dosage to twice per day. This third dose can be added at midday. Continued use is required to maintain the benefits of CorvalenM.
