InfaSkin Probiotic™ utilizing the specially designed multi-species probiotic known as Ecologic® PANDA.
The “hygiene hypothesis™ is a generally accepted concept with epidemiological and direct clinical evidence that links exposure to certain beneficial microorganisms and bacteria to the development of a healthy immune system.† Specifically, researchers are increasingly finding links between the gastrointestinal tract’s population of beneficial flora and normal immune responses.
Before birth, the developing gastrointestinal tract does not contain any beneficial microorganisms; instead, colonies of beneficial microflora are obtained during the birthing process and through breastfeeding. Rigorous sanitation processes, antibiotic usage, formula feeding and caesarian sections may all reduce an infant’s exposure to beneficial bacteria and microorganisms, which, in general, may hinder development of normal immune responses needed to support optimal health.
Ecologic® Panda has been designed for the health and well-being of mothers and their babies.
It not only supports gastrointestinal and immune health, but when used appropriately, may also significantly contribute to skin health in infants.
Suggested Use
Pregnant Women: (starting at 34 weeks) - Dissolve the contents of 1 sachet in water, juice or milk. Take once per day, preferably between meals.
Infant Dose: Dissolve the contents of 1 sachet in breast milk or formula through age 12 months. Children 12-24 months may continue with 1 sachet dissolved in water, juice, or milk.**
**Note for exclusively nursing women: If bottle feeding is not elected, nursing women may take the product according to the suggested use for Pregnant Women.
