Uses of Ginseng

ISO 9000 Certification
Ilhwa Co., LTd. acquired ISO 9001 certification on November 17, 1999 after going through six months of consulting and
preparation period including three rounds of assessment from April through October of 1999. Ilhwa earned the certification in
order to establish a quality assurance system covering the entire scope of the manufacturing process, from the production stage
and facility installation to development, sales and service, for the purpose of raising external credibility and enhancing
competitiveness of our products.
Ilhwa has the largest factory in the world for the production of ginseng products, the plant manufactures more than 50 types of drugs including superior ginseng products, herbal medicine products and Aclaton that was developed as result of in-house

How ILHWA products are made
Made exclusively from 6 year old, fresh, whole Korean Ginseng roots. Ginsenosides grow into the root between the 4th and
5th year. Younger roots are not as potent. Utilizes a "whole root" extraction, rather than "standardized". ILHWA is the
only Ginseng Company to guarantee the use of only 6 year old fresh (not dried) roots in its products.
A patented low temperature extraction process is used, in place of 'boiling’ the Ginseng roots. This insures Ginseng Concentrate
that is "alive" with active B vitamins, trace minerals (42), Ginsenosides, and 14 Saponins OR Panaxosides. Unlike other
brands, the ILHWA extraction process utilizes a "1 time only extraction" for the fresh, 6 year old roots. Because no high
temperatures are used, ILHWA doesn’t have the "bunt" taste that most Ginseng brands do. It is however a strong taste,
because of the purity and potency of the brand.
