We manufacture and distribute a range of products that have been scientifically researched, formulated and developed by the owner, Dr. David K. Shefrin, ND. Dr. Shefrin is a well respected leader in the dietary supplement industry.
 David K. Shefrin, N.D., owner of Bezwecken, Inc., is a respected professor, lecturer, practitioner and formulator who has helped many healthcare professionals become more knowledgeable and confident in treating women’s healthcare needs.
With 35 years of experience in natural medicine, Dr. Shefrin has developed effective formulas that deliver consistent results for your patients. David K. Shefrin, N.D. earned his naturopathic medical degree from the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, Oregon in 1975 after completing his premed studies at the University of California at Davis. Following graduation from NCNM, Dr. Shefrin furthered his postgraduate studies at Instituto Politecnico Nacional where he honed his knowledge of homeopathic medicine. From 1988-1994, Dr. Shefrin was an instructor at NCNM. He also owned a private clinic where he practiced natural medicine.
Awards and Recognition:
Bezwecken was awarded the first 2001 Corporation of the Year Award by the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians in Tucson, Arizona. Bezwecken is a current partner of 1,000 Friends of NCNM and a sponsor of NCNM’s Residency Program.
Dr. Shefrin is a member of the Founder’s Club of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and served as Vice President of the Board of Directors, for the Arizona Association of Naturopathic Physicians from 1985-1988. In 1996, he was awarded the Presidential Award and presidential citation from the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Dr. Shefrin served as the Chairman of the Board for the Arizona based Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences. In 2001 was awarded, one of only three, National College of Naturopathic Medicine Presidential Medallion by Dr. Clyde Jensen for heroic leadership and philanthropy in naturopathic medicine, education and entrepreneurism. In 2005, Dr. Shefrin was awarded the 3rd honorary doctorate given in over 50 years from the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM).

Bezwecken has long practiced the mantra of accountability. Long before the release of the Food and Drug Administration’s published guidelines for current Good Manufacturing Practices, we have focused on quality in all aspects of manufacturing and packaging.
Quality is an integral part of every step in Bezwecken’s manufacturing process. Quality Control operations are employed to ensure that the dietary supplement products conform to standards of purity, potency, quality and composition, and that packaging materials are safe and intended for their purpose. Compliance with Bezwecken’s quality systems provide the assurance that every raw material used in a product meets set specifications, as well as the assurance that every product shipped to customers meets safety and quality standards set forth in Bezwecken’s good manufacturing practices. Unlike some of our competitors, Bezwecken tests every lot number of our dietary supplements for microbial contamination, heavy metals and potency. We do not practice skip lot testing. This ensures that every dietary supplement your patient receives will be safe and deliver consistent results.
